Geoff McDonald, The Book Rapper
At the age of ten, Geoff found out he had a genius level IQ by completing a quiz in Reader’s Digest and he’s been living under this delusion ever since.
Geoff’s first career was as an architect having studied in the Australia and the US. And, working in the UK.
Today, he no longer designs buildings. Instead, as the Ideas Architect he helps individuals and organisations to design, build and sell their ideas. Book Rapper is his primary project for exploring how this can be done.
An avid learner he has Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees, is a Master Practitioner in NLP, holds a Diploma of Ontological Coaching and has completed numerous other courses including the Team Management and Leadership Program at Landmark Education.
He has presented at International Design conferences including the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Convention and the Union of International Architects Forum. He’s also presented to a range of corporates and organisations including: Macquarie Bank, Melbourne Business School, National Speakers Association of Australia (NSAA), Leader Newspapers, Australian Institute of Management, Thought Leaders, Commercial Metals Company and the Leadership Development Centre in NZ. Geoff has also run numerous webinars and workshops, including the popular Ideas Lunch series in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland.
Plus, Geoff has authored four books, exhibited his paintings and sculptures, is well known for his mind maps, run a website design and strategy business, facilitated strategic planning events, designed a series of board games, created 1000manifestos.com and traded on the stockmarket. He’s also a gym junkie.
Geoff is a big picture thinker and his heroes include Einstein, Picasso and Bucky Fuller who changed forever the way we look at the world. His mission is to follow in their footsteps.
